Out For A Walk

Hitori looked at the ground, "Yummy brain pie."

"Brain pie."

"Yep pie." She said as she smiled.

"Yay!!" She jumped around. "Pie!"

"No like I said I don't believe in many mental disabilities."

"Do you think I have that?!" She asked with a big smile, her fingers figeting and her eye twitching.

"It's a lable that they put on kids so they can start feeding them drugs." She stood there for a second, "It's what people call a mental disability, personally I think that it's just in their head. It's what they lable you with when you can't sit still and focus on one thing for a long period of time and they feed you riddlein(sp?) because you get hyper a lot."

"No I don't think so but someone said I had ADHD yesterday.." She raised a brow. "What's ADHD..?"

Hitori's head tilted slightly, "Do you suffer from short term memory loss?"

"Ahahaha, your funny!!" She laughed, spinning in a circle. "Think about what?"

"Yeah, I've noticed."

"I just like being mean in general."

Hitori laughed at Lith's comment. "Why is it so fun to be mean to this girl."

"You... think? When did this happen?"

"How do you...Never mind I'm scared to ask..."

She came back from running around wild. "HII!! I was listening to your whole conversation and I think that I don't understand what is going on.. infact, I don't think I was thinking at all."

"Yeah...I guess..."

"I don't think we're supposed to know. I really don't think we are. I mean if we aren't, it'll just make us more miserable. Won't it?"

"...I wish I knew..."

"Are any of us, really, part of the big scheme?"

"Yeah, but there's no way of telling which people aren't part of the big scheme and which ones are..."

She smiled vaguely.

"Humanity... lives so fragile and short. I often wonder what it's worth, in the end. A million lives aren't worth much in the grand scheme of things, you know that?"

"Yeah..."

"Same," she said, "darker music has always been my favourite. I have a bit of an obsession with the dark side of this world."

"Mostly rock..."

"I'm sure it is," she said with a vague smile, "so. What's your music preference?"

"Well that's good to know..."

"I know him pretty well," she said, "he's mentioned you a few times. He seems fond of you."

"Umm...Why don't you get to know him and find out yourself."

"I see." She went silent, her thoughts running rapidly.

/What is so special about her? She doesn't seem unusual at all. A little withdrawn but not overly so. I wonder?/

"How much do you know about him?"

"Yeah."

"You're a friend of John's, am I right?" she asked, "I seem to remember running into you two."

"Yeah...Me too..."

"I see. I've always had a love for the water," she said quietly.

/This is the girl he spoke of. What about her is so special to him?/

"Nothing..."

"Yes but I didn't meet her. So... what brings you here?"

"We sort of kinda already met."

Lith walked over to the two of them and looked out onto the water.

"Hello," she said, glancing back at them. "Lith."

"I dunno I guess it's jbecause when your in water your weightless and you can float, sink or just swim." she said as she looked at the ocean.

She grinned. "SEE?!? You do like something!!! Soo, why do you like 'water'? Hmm?"

"Yeah, I kinda noticed.." She grinned. "Wow! The air is soooo frsh over here.. too bad I'm paranoid of water."

I could say something so mean.... "Yeah I tend to think alot"

"Cool! So that means were flyin and walkin around!" She played with her hair. "Are ya thinkin again, too?"

"Walking around..."

She lifted an eyebrow and put a finger to her chin. "Umm.. flyin around?" She grinned. "How about you?"

"Oh...So what have you been up to?"

"Yup yup!!" She smiled. "I was just flyin' around, then I seen you!"

"Hi again...I've seen you alot recently."

She jumped infront of Hitori and waved. "Heey!"
